b. 1989
on the Coast Salish territory now known as Vancouver, Canada.

Since a young age I've found joy in learning and helping others to learn. This has led to a career in education and a variety of artistic projects.

My teaching philosophy revolves around critical questioning, exploration, and the inherent value of the person. I see education as a reciprocal process that goes far beyond institutional teaching. To me, a true measure of our education is whether it teaches us to observe and respond authentically to those around us and to ourselves.

During my master's studies, I have continued to explore my interests in how intersections of culture, identity, and human interaction re/shape learning. I believe that a focus on context and transformation is necessary for creating meaningful educational frameworks in a changing world.

This website is a platform for my ongoing educational and creative output in various avenues. We can sometimes be reticent to share our ideas. I hope that by putting my own assorted output into a public space, others might be encouraged to do so as well.

I currently teach for the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and do miscellaneous side projects.
